Macbeth Lecture

Macbeth- Violent hero, and individual Identity. Act 5- Later in the play we find Macbeth without his heroism, and Individualism. Dramatic Irony- He doesn't reveal himself, No relationship between himself and the audience, No humanity! Instead- We see elements of Macbeth thought process and how its similar to ours. Shakespeare more desirable character(Macbeth). Tragic Hero- Macbeth starts with friends and honor by the end of the play he is alone and without a place. Macbeth decisions- He makes his own decisions, His not being pushed by others. Murder of Duncan Reason- Its a part of him that wants to, But a part of him that disapproves of the act. Desire of BECOMING KING=DISAPPROVE. Macbeth knows the consequence of killing of politics. Holding him back- breaking the rule that keeps society together. Lady Macbeth is pure evil encouraging Hamlet to kill Duncan. Animus=Lady Macbeth Macbeth is filled with sorrow and horror. He feels that their is no turning back. After his killing Macbeth feels total regret. Macbeth is King Macbeth has no admirable aspect. He becomes overwhelmed with fear. His courage is with outward enemies, NOT!!! with inward enemies. Lady Macbeth is consumed by the inner torment of encouraging Macbeth of killing Duncan. Lady Macbeth ultimately kills herself.
